Yesterday we explored the poem school sucks but at least ur friends are there.
We identified seven language techniques in the poem, and learned some new techniques in the process.
Today we are learning to write paragraph responses to a poem. Our paragraphs will:
- use the wording of the question
- use the language techniques terminology
- include the effect of the language techniques
- How does the writer show what it feels like to be a teenager at school?
- What does the writer suggest about the feelings some teenagers ahve at the end of the school holidays?
- How does the writer use the five senses to develop ideas about school and school holidays?
